Rebecca Wilkinson, MA, ATR-BC, LCPAT, and Board-Certified Art Therapist

Rebecca Wilkinson is a board-certified art therapist with 30 years of clinical experience. She offers therapeutic interventions for a wide range of needs including trauma recovery and stress management. Rebecca is nationally recognized for her work by the American Art Therapy Association.

Bio and Background

Rebecca completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and earned her Master of Arts in Art Therapy at George Washington University. She is a licensed and board-certified art therapist with thirty years of practice in mental health fields. In addition to art therapy, Rebecca is trained in cognitive behavioral techniques,12 Step recovery, mindfulness & meditation practices, Jungian therapy, positive psychology, trauma recovery, and traditional verbal psychotherapy.

In 2010, Rebecca co-founded Creative Wellbeing Workshops, an organization offering a variety of therapies and services to help individuals and organizations improve their wellbeing. Rebecca has been awarded Clinician of the Year by the American Art Therapy Association for her work as well as her contributions to art therapy education. She believes in the power of the human spirit and its ability to carry people through even the most trying hardships. Along with being a vital part of the SeeingU team, Rebecca continues her role with Creative Wellbeing Workshops and is an adjunct professor in George Washington University’s Art Therapy graduate program.
