Bio and Background

Rachel is a licensed clinical counselor (LCPC) and board-certified dance/movement therapist (BC-DMT). Rachel has been in the field of psychotherapy for nine years working in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient, inpatient, and residential. She has extensive knowledge of treating individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, as well as symptoms in relation to past trauma experiences.

Rachel utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques to best fit each client’s needs including verbal therapy, art, music, body-mind connections, and principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). With her wide range of certification and a wealth of experience in movement therapies, Rachel is able to provide a one of a kind treatment program for those clients looking to connect with their bodies in a healthier way or those clients that connect with dance/movement as a way to express themselves.
